You could say that Nathan Kappel has remodeling in his blood.  Growing up, he watched his father Wayne build his own business from a small flooring company to an all inclusive custom remodeling company before retiring after 35 years in business. Nathan starting working for Wayne when he was 15 years old and spent over 15 years absorbing as much of Wayne's hard-earned knowledge as possible.  Wayne taught Nathan everything he knows, from standard repairs and installations to custom designs dreamed up by the most courageous of customers. 

 

Along with all of the skills that Wayne taught Nathan over the years, he also taught him hard work, attention to detail, and the desire to leave each customer impressed with the level of craftsmanship and care taken with all projects.  In late 2020, Nathan moved to Pittsburgh and met his wife Nora, who encouraged him to consider starting his own company in the city.  In early 2021, NK Contracting launched, with current projects ranging from bathroom remodels and custom tile-work to entire home renovations.
